Stop work now!
Another paradox.
It’s harder to smoke than it is to quit. Think about it. The hours and the amount of work you have to do to earn the money to buy your cigarettes. Then you have to source your supplier and keep up your supply of the drug then find a place to smoke, perhaps out in the cold?

Stop. Quit. Chill out.
- You’d go out of your way to get your supply.
- I wager you’d go to the other side of the black stump to get your smokes if you had to.
- You have to find a place to smoke, rain, hail or shine.
- And you’d brave any weather to get your hit.
- You have to overcome your natural fear of fire and hold a flame close to your face as you light up.
- You have to put a cigarette in your mouth and inhale all those poisonous fumes into your system.
- You have to fool yourself that smoking feels good.
- If you felt the same dizziness without the smoking, you’d seek medical advice.
If you add it all up, each smoke takes a heck of a lot of effort and emotional sacrifice. If, before you began to smoke, someone told you all this, would you take it up? Why go to all that trouble when it’s much simpler to simply stop, quit, chill out? That’s the question you should answer now.
